Product Description
The Hydraulic Butt Fusion HDPE Pipe Machine is designed to connect high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes. This machine uses hydraulic pressure to heat the two ends of the pipe before pressing them together to make a firm connection. This connection method is known as "hot melt butt welding" and may ensure the pipe connection's sealing and stability.
How it works
The butt fusion process begins with prepping the HDPE pipe ends, which are then properly positioned in the machine's clamps. When the ends are sufficiently heated, the heating plate is withdrawn, and the hydraulic system begins to apply pressure, causing the heated ends to fuse together. The material cools and solidifies, generating a seamless and robust junction, resulting in a continuous pipe of high integrity.
Product Composition
This equipment typically consists of the following components: heated plate, hydraulic system, control panel, and clamps. The heating plate softens and plasticizes the pipe's ends. The hydraulic system applies pressure to guarantee that the pipes are pushed together uniformly after heating. The control panel is used to adjust the heating temperature and pressing time to achieve a good connection. Clamps are used to secure the pipes and keep them steady during the connection process.
