HDPE Hydraulic Butt Fusion Welding Machine is a device used to connect high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes. This machine is commonly used in pipeline engineering, tap water systems, oil and gas transmission pipelines and other fields.

Working Principle
HDPE Hydraulic Butt Fusion Welding Machine uses hydraulic pressure to provide the force required to fuse HDPE pipes. The machine heats the surfaces of the two pipes to be connected to a specific temperature, usually about 200°C to 230°C, depending on the pipe. Then, under the action of hydraulic pressure, the two heated pipe ends are quickly pressed together to mix and solidify the molten HDPE material to form a strong and reliable welded joint.

Operation steps
1. Pipe preparation: Cut the HDPE pipe to the desired length and use a pipe cutter or saw to ensure that the cut end is flat and perpendicular to the pipe axis. Then, use a cleaning tool to remove dirt, oil, and other impurities from the pipe end surface and ensure good contact with the heating plate.
2. Clamp the pipe: Place the two pipes to be welded in the welding machine's clamping mechanism, adjust the clamping position and tightness based on the pipe diameter, and check that the pipe is securely and correctly aligned.
3. Pipe end heating: Turn off the welding machine's heating plate and begin heating. Monitor the heating plate temperature during the heating operation to verify that the desired temperature is reached and maintained. The heating time is usually determined by the pipe's diameter. Wall thickness typically ranges from a few seconds to a few minutes.
4. Fusion welding: After heating is complete, swiftly remove the heating plate and utilize the hydraulic system to apply axial pressure to bring the two heated pipe ends into close contact and fuse together. The welding pressure and holding duration should also be adjusted as needed.
5. Cooling and shaping: After fusion welding, apply pressure for a set period of time to allow the molten HDPE material to cool and solidify. To avoid damaging the welded joint, do not move or apply external force to it while it is cooling. After cooling, remove the clamping device, and the HDPE pipe welding is complete.
