I. Cleaning Tool Preparation
1. Basic Tools
Non-woven fabric or medical gauze (steel wool and other hard objects are prohibited)
Food-grade alcohol (75% concentration) or a special PTFE coating cleaner
Soft brush (nylon)
2. Protective Equipment
High-temperature-resistant gloves (to prevent burns)
Goggles (to avoid splashing of cleaning agents)
II. Cleaning Procedure
1. Power Off and Cool Down
Turn off the power to the machine and wait until the heating plate temperature drops below 40°C.
2. Surface Preparation
Use a soft brush to remove large PE residues, gently sweeping along the heating plate's grain. Stubborn residues should be removed by soaking gauze with alcohol. Apply for 5 minutes to soften.
3. Deep Cleaning
Wipe the PTFE-coated area with gauze dampened with alcohol in a spiral motion (do not use circular motions).
For severe oil stains, apply a baking soda paste (1:1 water) for 10 minutes, then rinse.
4. Drying Inspection
After air drying, inspect the coating integrity (scratches > 2mm require repair).
Test the heating plate temperature difference (should be ≤ ±3°C).
III. Precautions
Do not use chlorine-containing disinfectants (they can corrode the PTFE coating).
After cleaning, cover with a dust cap to prevent secondary contamination.
Perform a deep cleaning at least once a month (weekly for high-load operations).
