1. Functions and uses

The automatic pipe welding machine is different from other welding machines. Its function and use are not only welding. It has fast heating speed and high efficiency. It has the characteristics of being able to melt any metal object instantly. It can not only be used for welding of various metal materials, but also can be used for heat penetration, smelting, heat treatment and other processes. Suitable for heat treatment quenching, annealing, metal hot forging, extrusion forming, and welding.

2. Welding process and principle

1. The welding electrode strengthens the workpiece and starts to flash when the workpiece is not in complete contact.

2. The workpieces clamped by the welding electrodes gradually approach. As the current density increases, the contact parts between the workpieces begin to melt, and part of the molten metal overflows, forming the initial welding node.

3. The welding area becomes hotter and hotter, and the welding speed accelerates.

4. Flash and sputter weld the two contact surfaces completely.

5. Forge under high pressure, cut off the current, and complete the welding.

3. Issues that need attention during use

(1) The automatic pipe welding machine should be firmly grounded or zero-connected after being installed indoors and in a rainproof workshop. When the butt welding machines are installed in parallel, the distance between them must be less than 3m, the power grids with different phases must be connected separately, and the circuit breakers must be installed separately.

(2) Before welding, the pressure mechanism of the welding machine must be flexible, the clamps must be firm, and the gas holmium hydraulic system must not leak and should be studied and confirmed.

(3) Before welding, the secondary pressure should be adjusted according to the cross-section of the welded steel bar, and steel bars exceeding the diameter of the welding machine must not be welded.

(4) The contact points and electrodes of the circuit breaker must be polished on time, and the secondary circuit connecting bolts must be tightened on time. The cooling water temperature shall not exceed 40°, and the drainage volume shall be adjusted according to the temperature.

(5) When welding long steel bars, brackets should be installed.

(6) Set up baffles in the flash area and welding-related workers are not allowed to enter.

(7) When welding in winter, the temperature should not be lower than 8°.

4. Daily basic maintenance work

1. After the equipment is used, the accessories should be checked immediately, the oil on the equipment should be removed, and the designated location in the warehouse should be kept clean and placed.

2. Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, replenish lubricating oil, and ensure that the hydraulic oil exceeds the oil mark by 20-30mm and that the oil does not discolor, bubble, or deteriorate.

3. If the equipment is not used beyond its capacity, regular operation inspections and parts inspections should be carried out to ensure completeness.
