Socket welding is the main welding method for small diameter pipes. The socket fusion welding machine is mainly used for welding HDPE and PPR pipes. Socket fusion welding involves the use of accessories. This process operation is usually manual. The welding cycle includes a heating phase and a cooling phase. In socket welding, the socket installed on the hot plate is used to heat the outer surface of the welded pipe. On the other side of the heating plate, a socket is used to heat the inner surface of the injection molded part.
