    A polyethylene pipe fusion machine, also known as PE pipe welding machine or HDPE fusion machine, is specialized industrial equipment designed for thermoplastic pipe connection. Different from traditional thread connection and glue bonding, it adopts a thermal fusion welding principle: heating the pipe ends to a specific molten state under constant temperature, applying uniform pressure for docking, and forming an integrated seamless joint after natural cooling.

    How Does Pipe Fusion Welding Work?
    1. Pipe Preparation: Cut pipe ends square and clean thoroughly
    2. Alignment: Secure pipes in the fusion machine clamps with precise alignment
    3. Facing: Machine-plane both pipe ends to ensure perfectly flat surfaces
    4. Heating: Insert heated plate (typically 200–220°C for HDPE) between pipe ends
    5. Fusion: Remove heating plate and immediately press pipe ends together
    6. Cooling: Maintain pressure during the cooling phase-never accelerate cooling
    7. Inspection: Visually inspect the weld bead for uniformity and completeness
    Critical Tip: The cooling time must never be shortened. Premature removal of pressure results in weak joints and potential failure under pressure.
