What is the specific operation process of calibrating the socket fusion welding machine?

Aug 28, 2024

1. Preparation
Make sure the work area is clean, tidy and safe.
Prepare the tools and materials required for the calibration mentioned above.
Carefully read the operation manual and calibration guide of the socket fusion welding machine to understand the specific calibration requirements and precautions.
2. Appearance inspection
Check the appearance of the welding machine to ensure that there is no obvious damage, deformation or loose parts.
3. Power connection
Connect the socket fusion welding machine to a stable power supply correctly and ensure that the power supply voltage meets the requirements of the welding machine.
4. Initial parameter recording
Record the current setting parameters of the welding machine, such as temperature, pressure, time, etc.
5. Temperature calibration
Turn on the heating function of the welding machine, aim the temperature measuring instrument (such as an infrared thermometer) at the heating plate, and measure the actual heating temperature.
Compare with the temperature set by the welding machine. If there is a deviation, calibrate according to the manual of the equipment by adjusting the corresponding control components (such as the temperature control knob or entering the calibration value in the control interface) until the actual measured temperature matches the set temperature.
6. Pressure calibration
Install the pressure measuring instrument at the pressure application site.
Perform pressure test operation and read the actual pressure value.
Compare the set pressure and actual pressure. If there is a difference, adjust it according to the instructions.
7. Time calibration
Use an accurate timer and start the timing function of the welding machine at the same time, and compare the time displayed by the welding machine with the time of the timer.
If there is a deviation, perform time calibration at the control interface or related settings.
8. Welding test
Use standard test pieces for actual welding operation.
Check the quality of the welded joint, including appearance, sealing, etc.
9. Fine-tuning and confirmation
According to the results of the welding test, if necessary, fine-tune parameters such as temperature, pressure and time to achieve the best welding effect.
Test and check again to ensure that the performance of the welder after calibration meets the requirements.
10. Record and mark
Record the calibrated parameters accurately.
Mark the calibration date and calibrator on the welding machine.
11. Cleaning and tidying
After calibration, clean the work area and put the tools and materials back in place.
