How to quickly identify whether the PE butt welding machine is faulty?

1. Visual inspection:
Observe whether there is obvious damage to the appearance of the equipment, such as cracks, deformation, etc.
Check whether the connecting parts such as welding guns, gas pipes, cables, etc. are intact.
Observe whether the power indicator light is working properly.
2. Functional test:
Start the welding equipment to see if it can start normally.
Adjust the welding current and voltage to check whether the equipment can respond to the changes.
Perform a short-time welding test to observe the welding effect and welding sound.
3. Electrical test:
Measure the input voltage to ensure that the power supply is normal.
Measure the welding current to confirm that the output current meets the set value.
Check whether electrical components such as fuses and contactors are intact.
4. Gas system inspection:
Open the gas valve to confirm whether the gas flow is normal.
Check whether the flow meter and pressure regulating valve are working.
Check whether there is leakage in the gas pipeline.
5. Temperature control system inspection:
Check whether the set temperature of the thermostat is correct.
Use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the welding area to confirm whether it is within the appropriate range.
Check the temperature control circuit and sensor to ensure that there is no short circuit or open circuit.
6. Observe the welding effect:
Check whether the weld is well formed, whether there is any loose welding or poor weld formation.
7. Check the equipment action procedure:
The electrical action procedure should comply with the requirements of the pe butt welding machine manual and drawings. If the electrical components on a circuit act too early, too late or do not act, it means that the circuit or electrical components are faulty.
8. Precautions for fault diagnosis:
Ensure safety and check after cutting off the power supply.
Check in order from outside to inside and from simple to complex.
Record the fault phenomenon and diagnosis process for analysis and summary.
