1. Regular calibration
Calibration cycle: It is recommended to calibrate the temperature sensor once every six months or one year. If the equipment is used frequently or the working environment is harsh, the calibration cycle should be shorter.
Calibration method: Use professional temperature calibration equipment, such as a standard thermometer or calibrator, to calibrate the temperature sensor. Place the standard thermometer and the temperature sensor of the welding machine in a constant temperature environment at the same time, compare the readings of the two, and adjust the temperature setting of the welding machine until the two are consistent.
2. Daily inspection
Appearance inspection: Regularly check the appearance of the temperature sensor to ensure that there is no damage, corrosion or looseness. If dirt or oxide layer is found on the surface of the sensor, it should be cleaned in time.
Connection check: Check the connection line of the sensor to ensure that there is no looseness, short circuit or open circuit. Use a multimeter to detect the continuity and resistance value of the line.
3. Environmental control
Avoid electromagnetic interference: Ensure that the temperature sensor is away from strong electromagnetic interference sources, such as large motors, transformers, etc.
Control the working environment: Ensure that the working environment temperature and humidity of the welding machine are within the rated range of the sensor. Avoid using in harsh environments such as high temperature, high humidity or strong wind.
4. Maintenance
Cleaning the sensor: Wipe the sensor housing with a clean soft cloth regularly to remove dust and dirt. For removable protective sleeves, they should be disassembled and cleaned to ensure good heat conduction.
Tighten the connection: Use tools to gently tighten the sensor's mounting bolts and the connectors of the connecting line to prevent looseness from affecting measurement accuracy and signal transmission.
5. Performance test
Response time test: Regularly test the sensor's response time to ensure that it can quickly and accurately reflect temperature changes.
Stability test: Test the stability of the sensor and repair or replace it in time if performance deteriorates.
6. Recording and analysis
Record calibration data: After each calibration, record the calibration data and date to facilitate tracking of sensor performance changes.
Analyze deviations: If the sensor reading is found to deviate from the actual temperature, analyze the cause of the deviation, such as sensor aging, poor contact or environmental interference.
