DPS20 series electric welding machine adopts true RMS control, mainly used to connect gas or water polyethylene (PE) pipes and fittings. The machine has higher welding voltage stability than the international standard ISO12176-2, welding time accuracy and temperature detection accuracy, etc.
Working principle
Electrofusion welding is a method of connecting HDPE and other plastic pipes with special fittings. These fittings have built-in electric heating elements to weld the joints together. Clean the pipe to be connected, insert it into the electrofusion fitting, and apply voltage within a fixed time according to the fitting used. Then, the built-in heater coil melts the inside of the fitting and the outside of the pipe wall, welding them together to form a very strong uniform joint. Then cool the components for the specified time. The welding heat and time depend on the type and size of the accessory.
