1. Electrical safety protection
1. Grounding protection: The electrical and control parts of the welding machine are not waterproof. Water should not enter the electrical and control parts of the welding machine during operation. In case of construction on rainy days, protective measures should be taken for the electrical and control parts of the welding machine.
2. Overload protection: It has an overload protection function. When the equipment load exceeds the rated value, it automatically cuts off the power supply to protect the equipment and operators.
3. Overvoltage and undervoltage protection: It can detect whether the power supply voltage is within the normal range. When the voltage is too high or too low, it automatically stops working to prevent equipment damage.
2. Operation safety protection
1. Emergency stop function: It is equipped with an emergency stop button. Once an emergency occurs, the operator can quickly press the button to stop the welding process immediately.
2. Automatic detection and alarm: It has the function of automatically detecting open and short circuit faults of the welding circuit, temperature sensor faults, etc., and can send an alarm signal when an abnormality is detected.
3. Operation error prompt: It can automatically detect operation errors and prompt through the screen to avoid safety accidents caused by misoperation.
4. Protection measures: Operators must wear protective gloves during operation to avoid direct contact with high-temperature components.
III. Environmental adaptability protection
1. Temperature compensation function: Automatically adjust welding parameters according to ambient temperature to ensure the best welding effect at different ambient temperatures, while preventing safety problems caused by excessively high or low temperatures.
2. Waterproof and moisture-proof design: Although the electric fusion welding machine itself does not have waterproof performance, the design takes moisture-proof requirements into consideration to adapt to harsh conditions in the field.
IV. Other safety protections
1. Fan protection: The built-in fan is used for heat dissipation to prevent the equipment from overheating. If the fan does not turn, the equipment will automatically stop working to prevent damage caused by overheating.
2. Data storage and traceability: Important parameter data during welding is recorded and stored in real time, which is convenient for later traceability and analysis to ensure welding quality.
3. Automatic protection function: It has automatic voltage stabilization and power supply voltage over-limit protection functions.
4. High-temperature component protection: The maximum temperature of the heating plate can reach 250°C. Operators should use handles when extracting the heating plate to avoid direct contact with high-temperature components.
5. Welding surface cleaning: Before welding, the oxide layer on the outer surface of the pipe molten zone and the inner wall of the pipe fittings must be completely removed, otherwise it will affect the welding quality and cause safety hazards.
6. Cooling protection: After welding, the joint should be kept in a natural state during the cooling process, and it should be ensured that no external force is applied during the cooling process. The joint part and the pipes on both sides must not be moved or rotated.
7. Install the centralizer: When welding large-diameter pipes and pipe fittings, it is advisable to install centralizers, tensioners, hand hoists and other tension devices to prevent displacement of the pipe interface during welding.
8. High temperature weather protection: When the temperature exceeds 30℃ and spraying occurs during the welding of electric fusion pipe fittings, the subsequent welding time should be reduced by 10%.
9. Power cord requirements: The welding machine socket line is more than 4 square meters, and the power cord is at least 6 square meters when the length exceeds 50 meters.
10. Pressure test protection: In hot weather, pressure test work should be arranged in the morning and evening as much as possible. After the pipeline to be pressure tested is installed, the pipe body should be covered with soil, exposing the joints for observation, so as to reduce the tensile damage to the pipes and fittings caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
