The electric fusion connection is achieved through the electric fusion pipe fittings sleeved on the outside of the pipe and energized and heated. Electrofusion pipe fittings include sleeves, saddles, reducers, tees and elbows, etc. Electrofusion connection utilizes the Joule effect. After power on, the resistance coil integrated in the inner and outer surface of the pipe heats up to cause the PE adjacent to the coil to melt, and the welding pressure caused by the expansion of the material makes the connection interface welded together. There are two methods of electrofusion connection: socket connection and saddle connection.
