PE hot melt welding machine operation steps

1. Select the appropriate clamp according to the pipes and fittings to be welded, clamp the pipes, and prepare for cutting.

2. Cut off impurities and oxide layers on the end faces of the welded pipe sections and pipe fittings to ensure that the butt end faces of the two pipes are flat, bright and free of impurities.

3. The end faces of the two welded pipes must be completely aligned. The smaller the misalignment, the better. The misalignment cannot exceed 10% of the wall thickness. If it exceeds 10% of the wall thickness, the quality of the butt joint will be affected.

4. The docking temperature is generally between 210-230℃. The heating time of the heating plate is different in winter and summer. The melting length of both ends is 1-2mm.

5. Remove the heating plate, quickly stick the two hot-melt end surfaces together and apply pressure. To ensure the welding quality, the shorter the switching cycle, the better.

6. Hot melt butt jointing is the key to welding. The butt jointing process should always be carried out under melting pressure, and the curling width should be 2-4mm.

7. During cooling, keep the docking pressure constant and allow the interface to cool down slowly. The length of the cooling time shall be determined by touching the curled edge and feeling stiff and no heat.

8. After the docking is completed and cooled, release the clamping tile, remove the docking machine, and prepare for the next interface welding again.
