1. Preparation:
Make sure the welding area is clean, dry and free of impurities.
Check whether the welding equipment is normal, including power supply, heating plate, milling cutter and other components.
Make sure that the welding area is on the same axis and is not affected by any external stress.
2. Clean the pipe end:
Use a clean cloth or paper to dip a small amount of alcohol to clean the connecting end face of the pipe, and make sure the welding surface is clean, dry and grease-free.
Avoid touching the milled end face to prevent contamination.
3. Heating the pipe end:
Fix the pipe on the welding machine and use the milling cutter to mill the pipe end flat.
Place the heating plate between the two sections of pipe and heat to the set temperature (usually 200-220°C).
The heating time depends on the wall thickness and diameter of the pipe, usually a few minutes.
4. Butt the pipe:
Remove the heating plate, quickly butt the two sections of pipe, and apply appropriate pressure.
Maintain pressure until the pipe cools to room temperature, which usually takes a few minutes.
5. Check welding quality:
Check whether there is an obvious melting line at the welding part to ensure that the welding is firm.
Use pressure test or appearance inspection method to ensure that the welding quality meets the requirements.
