How to use a manual hot-melt butt welding machine?

1. Preparation
Check whether all parts of the welding machine are intact and whether there is any damage or looseness.
Prepare the pipes to be welded and ensure that their surfaces are clean, dry, free of oil and impurities.
Place the welding machine in a stable, dry and well-ventilated position.
2. Fix the pipes
Use a clamp to fix the two pipes to be welded on the workbench of the welding machine so that their ends are aligned.
3. Cut the end face of the pipe
Use a special cutting tool to cut the end face of the pipe flat and ensure that the end face is perpendicular to the axis of the pipe.
4. Clean the end face of the pipe
Wipe the end face of the pipe with a clean cloth to remove the debris and dust generated by cutting.
5. Install the heating plate
Heat the heating plate to the set temperature and then place it between the end faces of the two pipes.
6. Heat the end face of the pipe
Heat for the specified time to make the end face of the pipe reach a molten state.
7. Remove the heating plate
After heating, quickly remove the heating plate.
8. Butt-joined pipes
Manually apply pressure to tightly butt the molten end faces of the two pipes together for a certain period of time.
9. Cooling
Let the welded part cool naturally and keep the pressure unchanged during the cooling process.
10. Check the welding quality
After cooling, check the appearance of the welded part for defects such as pores and cracks, and perform strength tests if necessary.
