How to perform hot melt welding using a PE welding machine?

1. Pre-welding preparation: Ensure the hot melt machine is properly connected to the power supply, the milling cutter is cutting normally, the heating plate is heating evenly, and the machine's hydraulic cylinder is operating smoothly. Place the pipe or fitting to be welded stably on the welding machine, leaving a 10-20mm cutting allowance.

2. Clamping and cutting: Select appropriate clamps to clamp the pipe according to its size. Use a milling cutter to cut the pipe end face, removing impurities and oxide layers to ensure a smooth and clean end face. Clean the end face with alcohol-soaked cotton gauze.

3. Alignment and heating: Align the two pipe sections perfectly, ensuring the misalignment does not exceed 10% of the wall thickness. Set the heating plate temperature between 210-230℃ and heat until the melting length at both ends is 1-2mm.

4. Switching and melting: Quickly remove the heating plate, allowing the two hot melt end faces to adhere and apply pressure. Maintain the melting pressure and control the crimp width to 2-4mm.

5. Cooling and Completion
Maintain constant mating pressure and allow the joint to cool slowly until the curled edges are stiff and no longer feel hot. Cooling time is generally 10-12 times the pipe wall thickness. Finally, release the clamps and remove the mating machine.
