How to Determine if a PPR Welding Machine is Malfunctioning
1. Power-On Check: If the equipment is completely unresponsive after power is connected, the display screen is off, and the buzzer alarms abnormally, it's highly likely a circuit fault, such as a blown fuse or a loose wire.
2. Temperature Control Performance Verification: If the machine fails to reach the set 260℃ standard temperature for an extended period after startup, or if the temperature continues to rise uncontrollably, or if the heating plate shows partial lack of heat, it indicates a malfunction in the temperature control system or heating element.
3. Operating Condition Check: If the motor runs idle but the hydraulic system does not move, high-pressure interfaces leak oil or fluid, or the terminals are abnormally hot, these are typical signs of malfunctions in the power and sealing components.
4. Welding Effect Verification: If the welded PPR joints frequently exhibit incomplete welds, irregular edges, or carbonized pipe adhering to the die head, after ruling out operational issues, it's generally safe to assume a malfunction in the equipment's temperature control or die head components.
