1. Abnormal Splice Quality: High splice loss across multiple fibers, air bubbles or misalignment after splicing, and repeated re-fabrication of the end face failing to improve the situation indicate contamination of core components requiring maintenance.
2. Frequent Equipment Errors: Frequent "Fiber Not Found," "Fiber Misalignment," or "Discharge Abnormality" errors that cannot be resolved by conventional reset operations likely indicate contamination of the V-groove or lens, requiring cleaning and maintenance.
3. Abnormal Component Condition: Visibly rounded electrode tips, significant carbon buildup, hazy stains on the objective lens surface, or stubborn impurities remaining in the V-groove directly trigger maintenance requirements.
4. System Self-Check Prompts: The equipment's built-in maintenance menu displays reminders such as electrode lifespan expiration or optical system calibration failure, or the cumulative splice count reaches 500 times, requiring the corresponding maintenance operations to be performed according to specifications.
